90% of singam shooting over but "No audio release for 'Singam"

Director Hari has said his forthcoming venture ‘Singam’, which is Suriya’s 25th film, would not have a formal audio launch.
“None of my earlier films had music launch functions. So, for all probability, ‘Singam’ too would not have a separate event to release its audio album. At the same time, I can say with all hope that the songs of the film would top the charts,” he said.
“A police story, ‘Singam’ is set in both city as well as village. The on-screen chemistry of Suriya and Anushka is great. Almost 90 per cent of the shoot is over. We are planning to release the film in April 2010,” the filmmaker said.
Both for Hari and Suriya cop stories have proved successful in the past. Hari's ‘Samy’ starring Vikram was a run away entertainer while Goutham Vasudev Menon’s ‘Kaakka Kaakka’ gave Suriya a new identity. Devi Sri Prasad's music will prove a plus to 'Singam' too.
‘Singam’ is produced by Gnanavel of Studio Green who has made ‘Sillunnu Oru Kadhal’ and ‘Paruthiveeran’ earlier.
